How many of you guys use poly-rhythms when your writing new tracks?

its hard not to if im surfing with the rolands.

I do. A lot.

But the key is to make it sound natural. I dont like it when you have to sit there at full attention trying to find the beat... I like it subtle...

I know what you mean, its all about the groove. Got it to using them through Meshuggah. Still fries my head to think how he plays some of them.

does anyone have any audio examples?
