delay while slaving?

Ive been experimenting lately with drum machine daisy chaining. Ive manged to get most of my sequencers all sounding perfectly on beat with eachother except for one, the Korg Electribe SX. Im using for my master clock a Machinedrum and no matter where in the chain i place the electribe it sounds very slightly delayed with the rest of the beat. I have to manually tap it the play button to get it to sync up the way i want. I know i could probably put it as the master host to sync to but i dont want to set it up that way. So i guess im asking has anybody else experienced this, and if so what do i do to correct it?
