noob DJ traktor question

hey guys,

I'm having problems getting my headphones to work correctly so that you can preview tracks in DJ traktor 3. I had this working at one point, but i haven't messed with this program in a while so i forgot how the setup works and i cant find it anywhere on the web for some reason.

Anyway, i have a sound blaster x-fi platinum and i have my headphones plugged into the extra line out. I remember that you need to setup the card for 5.1 surround sound, which ive done, and set the output setting in traktor to the sub woofer or something but I cant remember if that is it. anyway im doing something wrong because it isnt working.

Ive been searching google for a while now and I'm getting rather frustrated, If anyone has any helpful info I would really appreciate it.

well guys, think i finally got it. It only took about 4 hours total :)

i did it once, asio4all had something to do with it, then you have to set up the soundcard 1 2 3 4

i dont think its really nessercary to use headphones with ableton..

though i like to use vinyl when i can
