Guest MortstoX
Nice. Good to see that there are things happening over at the Skam-website. I hope there are some new SMAK's on their way too. And I also wish that Skam could release some albums with some of the previous SMAK-artists. Frank and Bill released the Merck 7" before their SMAK-contribution, and haven't really done anything after that. I'm sure they must have some material worth a proper release. Another of my favourites, Nachtsmeer has loads of good tracks similar in style to the SMAK-tracks, and I know he has asked SKAM to release more. Quinoline Yellow has his last two releases on his own small label. Don't know if that means that he is "finished" on Skam, but overall Skam has released fewer records the last couple of years. I hope that there will be released more from the SMAK-kids, and that there will be more SMAKs to fill up my cd-wallet. playbynumbers
well, but the vast majority of them have! i know frank and bill had a couple EPs, but you're right, i think those came before the smak 12" ... i was also a fan of those nachtsmeer tracks, and would like to hear more. actually both qy and tatamax have had releases on that uchelfa label (as well as skam), so, more releases, this is a good thing! other than nachtsmeer i honestly can't think of anyone else (out of the 26 artists, most of whom i like) that we haven't heard from Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide playbynumbers's signature Hide all signatures vinyl for sale photography! Guest MortstoX
Yeah. But I hope more of the talented artists can have some decent releases on Skam instead of making their own "bedroom-labels" and distribute their music on 300 copies 12" or CD-R. At least since it's been pretty quiet over at Skam the last two years, and since Skam had that. "Skam needs you!" headline over at their news-site. No, you don't need me! You need to release more Nachtsmeer and FAB-music! Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/22357-mr76ix/#findComment-390226 Share on other sites
Guest your mom
I've been pretty dissapointed with all the artist releases after they SMAK for some reason. I like the Pothuman, Made, String Theory, Ola, and Geiom. Qinoline Yellow is the only one in my opinion that had a good follow up. Guest your mom
I didn't like the Ola bergman album that much and Tatamax has lost what ever it had to me. I'm too old school and I can't get into anything really crazy. The furthest I've reached out is Mr 76ix and that's verging on too hard for me. Looks like there's samples on Skam's web site for this album and its pushed back a little bit, didn't see that coming . Caretstik
What the bollocks is going on? I had an email about an error at the pressing plant causing the delay, and doesn't Skam's site say that it's shipping this week? I dread to think when the Bola album's going to surface.
