guitar samples???

i'm looking for some proper metal guitar notes... i've tried distorting the normal guitar samples and it just doesn't sound right.... even just a plain air guitar high note would keep me happy - see, i'm making some death metal and i'm on the guitar solo, yet none of the guitars sound remotely authentic.... so any suggestions plz?

there´s no proper way to do it. use a real guitar. when possible, with a real guitar amp, or at least a Line6 POD or similar. there´s nothing like a distorted guitar being played.
