So... Rushup Edge? Anyone ever been there? I go walking there sometimes, it's not that special compared to other parts of the Peak District. There's also an area on Rushup Edge called 'Lord's Seat', the very name makes me think of Analord... Is this another hidden link with Aphex? Or could it just all be bullshit designed to make us read into things? Probably both.

i'm not entirely sure where the village is mate, but we were near an industrial estate and what i believe is an abandoned racetrack where the sheep hangout. we were in a group of old cement bunkers to keep cattle in. If you go out of buxton and go up the road that takes you towards Leek then you're in the right direction. I've yet to go up Kinder but as soon as i can be arsed i'll upload some pics.

where abouts do you reside Kenneth?

it's probably the best place in the world to get rained on!

Do you use Google Earth at all Jimbob? If so you can pinpoint the exact location and send us the placemark. Just curious to know where the rave was. How was it? Any good? What time did it finish?

I reside in Wakefield, West Yorks. Yourself?

i've just downloaded it on my work PC, so i don't really know how to send pinpoints. got some coordinates as

latitude: 53°14'34.37"N

longitude: 1°55'13.17"W

or near a place called Solomons temple. Somewhere round there anyway, i can't find the racetrack but its the best i can do.

i'm originally from Marple, just over the border in stockport but im now living in Crewe.

if you're ever in the area, theres a really nice place called Mellor, not quite in Derbyshire but near enough. some cool places to visit, especially Mellor Cross and there are plenty of places for a nice pint!

found this on the subject of the nearby racetrack, which i can't find on google earth!

''Racing on Sunday starts at 3pm and the track can be found by taking the Dalehead turn-off from the A53 Buxton to Leek road. The speedway track is separate from the Hi-Edge stock car stadium with the entrance to the speedway being found at the far end of the car park. There is trackside parking at the track as well as good vantage points for spectators. Visit www.hitmen2000.co.uk Buxton’s official website for full directions and maps of where to find the Hitmen.''

couldn't find any of the bunkers either, but i think theyre kinda hidden. nice area...we the sounds packed in about 7 in the morning, we got soaked but it was worth it
