Was the Music Has The Right To Children picture taken there?

I read on Bocwiki that the cover picture was taken in Banff Springs, Alberta, Canada. Well I checked a couple historical pics and I've found this.

Here's the link that leads to the pic. The bricks look older on MHTRTC so there might have a few differences between the wall in both pictures.

Any thoughts?

Is that true? Don't recall where I read that...

If so, it was taken at a different angles, because the background mountains don't match up.

Reminiscent, but the wall is not really the same. Much larger stones with less evident mortal on the cover and the top part is not all one.

Anyways, I think the brick wall and the mountains behind fit with the cover on Music Has The Right To Children. A few things might have changed between that black and white picture from 1940 and the family picture (theorically from around 1970), right?

I didn't search anywhere unlike you, people. It's rumored to be taken in Banff Springs so I find pics of the area, heh.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Banff. Very similar terrain. Beautiful, beautiful place.

Those brick walls are ubiquitous in most North American national parks, though...so that alone doesn't narrow it down at all.

P.S. For some reason, I never noticed this before, but there is a dog on that wall too, on the far left of the cover. BoC family owns dog. News at 11.

Far, far left. On the wall. You can see a leg, and a bit of torso. Could be a pygmy deer, though. Not sure. BoC family potentially owns pygmy deer. News at 9.

Probably somebody they know/knew... or just an old image they liked and decided to use.

it's not banff - it's in st. andrews caravan park
