We have just launched www.soundsnap.com, an online platform for finding and sharing free sound effects and loops- legally!

It is a collection of original sounds made or recorded by its users, and not songs or sound FX found on commercial libraries or sample CD's.

Check it out because:

- It has 30.000 sounds contributed by different sound and music people from all over the world.

- It has a friendly interface that makes it really fast and easy to find what you are looking for.

You can use them in any commercial or non-commercial application (movies, music, theater, video games etc. etc). However, your use has to comply with the Soundsnap license and our terms of use. Our terms make attribution optional- but recommended, and don't allow commercial distribution of the material if it is not transformed at all or included in a derivative work (film, other music). Therefore, you cannot sell CD's with these sounds or re-sell them online as they are- but only as a part of your music, film, website, installation etc."
