Help required

I have a gig soon and due to my laptop having funny audio glitches and the difficulty of transporting it to said place I'm going to use someone elses.

However I have a problem...

I have Live 5, they have Live 4.

So I either need to "aquire" a copy of Live 4 to build my set in or some advice in how to save it in a live 4 format and what fx to avoid etc.

Any ideas?

I remember reading in a review of Live 5 that althought it'll run Live 4 files, Live 4 won't run sets from V5. So I reckon you'll probably need a copy of version 4. What you COULD do is get a demo of 5 on your mate's laptop, and save your sets self-contained on your copy of 5. The demo's fully functional aside from saving and exporting which I don't suppose you'll need playing live. Ableton actually recommend you do this for on-tour emergencies where your computer goes kaput

Also they want NO additional software installed on their laptop with good reason.

So I guess I ned to get hold of Live 4.
