if you get a converter you can change .prg into commodore tape data and record the data to a tape and actaully load them up on the datasette on a real commodore..

i just made a track with samples from the specdrum - spectrum drum machine, and what an ace wee drum machine it is! crunchy as hell! (and more so when pitched down a touch...) i only had a quick scan but i don't think the specdrum was in that list so check it out too, recommended!

might have a look at some of these but there's not much point in using old trackers for me since modplug does 8-bit samples and you can switch off resampling for the low fi shenanigans.

Those SNES things aren't even apps or trackers, just roms of two games that are pretty limited. Here I was thinking there was a tracker with the soundfont you hear in a lot of SNES games (i.e the strings) :(
