Vista + FL6

I am ready to buy a new laptop. I pretty much use exclusively FL6, & Goldwave. Will I have any problems if I buy a Vista PC, or should I just go with XP?

Also, if FL is compatible, do I have to worry about VST's being compatible? Or will they be fine as long as the sequencer works?

I just bought a vista laptop and so far FL has worked fine so far. I do have version 7 however... but i'm going to install 6 to see if it works.

it works, the box outlines are slightly glitched because of the new vista gui engine, but it's perfectly usable.

As far as performance does it run any better? I heard one of the big things about vista is supposed to be how the rewrote the audio shit so it doesn't need a sound card or something. I don't know shit.
