Probably 303 because 909 is being overused nowadays, expecially in "hip-hop"... I don't even remeber how 303 sounds right now...

yeah, hip-hop producers (all of them) use the 808 and 808 samples exclusively.

yeah, i could load up fl studio and do basically the same thing. i mean with real hardware.

although the flash 909 is fun for a while

i dont really hear much 909 in hip hop. mostly just in shitty house and shitty techno and what not.

i dont really like the 909.

i heard that many hiphop producers always layer their beats with an 808 to ensure they have that digital punch to them. i mean, a sampled funk record or whatever isnt gonna be very 'in-your-face' without some serious mastering...
