I really like the chord changes and reverb choice on the main pads in the first part, also find the snapple-esque percussion quite hypnotic. The buzzy pads underneath I'm not so fond of at first, but with more elements added I think they blend well. Interesting key change around 2:50 to the minor chord, caught me by surprise. I really like the clanky percussion stuff in this section. Again, very nice chordal progressions. Onto the second track, ditto about the progressions, a bit more unusual this time around, modulicious. The percussion reminds me of a videogame I used to play, don't remember the name. This tracks have almost an older sound to them, like they were from another era, except with a lot of more modern programming techniques you wouldn't have heard in that earlier era. This gives it a unique quality.

I might get to the third track later on, off to do other things for now. I enjoyed what I heard.

Are you/did you used to be modex? If so I dig your tracks.

Alot of my comments are similar to Mr. Nova's so I won't repeat them. Liked the melodies alot. I'm a sucker for that soundtrackesque feel. Enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing.

i like the synth in the beginning and about half of the chords, the changes seem a bit too complacent (maybe?) all of it makes more sense when the pipe flute hits come in, like it alot at this point, want some mega hard basskicks though, and maybe some nice sub bass, infact, if you dont mind, im gonna record some bass over the first part and resequence it into a seperate track, ill post the mix here when im done

ofcourse not, what did you use to make it, ill give you wavs of the bass, or rex's if you use reason

I used Buzz. Wavs are fine, I've got it all set up in a multitrack program so I can just put it in the mix. Unfortunately Buzz keeps crashing on me at the moment so you might have to figure out the tempo yourself, hehe.

I've said it already but the progression in this is impressive, for such a long piece, it never gets boring and it's pretty rewarding on repeat listens. Nice sonic range and feeling. Modex needs more attention.

These are all quite nice... very chilled... very cold and sparse sounding production... but warm comforting melodies. Nothing about it blows me away... but it's very good nonetheless...

I recognize the third track... that's from Pause Button Logic! Is cool though... it's like Modex meets Rooftop Access :)
