didn't think i'd like it when i heard the first change about 4 seconds in but i was loving it within another 10 seconds

this would fit pretty well in a snes rpg.

it's all a bit too cheesy for me, but it's good work, and carries it's theme very well.

No, it's not like one of those awful midi pianos like the intro to Rossz, but what's noticeable is the lack of warmth from a real piano. The melody is great but if you could record it on a real piano that would be aamazing

It sounds quite flat, lacks some dynamics.

Could use some more space as well.

i'm not sure how many people on this board are able to make a valueable record of a real piano. i guess most of the records would sound just like this.

and yes, oddly its halfway between midi and the target, so it's not just you.

i still like this, and if this was only part of a whole set with full fledged drums and stuff... this might make a good part of it!

Yeah, I didn't think the piano sounded that cheap at all, and anyway, as Max says, who the fuck has a spare piano just handy these days unless it's out by the stable with your 8 pet horses and Lamborghini. I thought this was really pretty Darren, the arrangement was good. Possibly just a little tinkering with Eq's could make it sparkle a little more but it's a solid piece. Nice one.
