I would agree, though Go Plastic has some of my favorite drum programming bits. I think the music on Hard Normal Daddy is by far the strongest. The songs just seem more well thought out, less wank for the sake of wank (though I love that too).

Knew what he was doing totally. I never get that feeling from other releases. Go Plastic really isn't that good as an album or at least not as memorable but had a couple GREAT tracks, 2nd one especially. Not a fan of the glitchery these days I must say, nor the fancy reverb, all sounds like crap these days because everybody is doing it. HND is just pure good songs and nothing else #1. 2nd place goes to Ultravisitor.

Both very solid, thick efforts. I've only gotten into Feed Me and HND thus far in my Squarepushing career. I put them on every so often, and many of those songs are genius. Theme from Earnest Borgnine has damn near universal appeal.

ah yes, it is his best effort indeed. there's a part near the end of "chin hippy" that just gets me every time, the whole song comes together and the beat almost becomes a melody. plus this thing's got "beep street", "papalon", "vic fuckin acid", "coopers world"...really, it's the best and he is the daddy.
