pylonbitch
yo ekters. was wondering if anyone could suggest a nice synth for performance? criteria... not too heavy... a midi slaveable box would do, it doesn't need to have a keyboard. decent analog modelling multi oscillator sounds... wave manipulation etc. maybe on -board effects. throughput would be nice. i'm really just looking for multiple suggestions to check out.. i might spend as much as £1000, i might not. i was thinking about a nord.. not sure. also, maybe one of the little korg analoguey things with the vocoder... microkorg.. that's the chap. anyway, info would be fun, and helpful to boot. shoot..... Guest noradrenalin
the korg ms2000r is nice, and pretty cheap too. i'm trying to sell one now as a matter of fact. it might have sold but i don't know yet. it's on consignment at a local shop. anyway, it's probably worth checking out if you can find one in a store some place. Great versatile synth - good action, great rotary and button quality...decent arpeggiator and some good fx...particularly the delay and distort which are all definable. has audio throughput too..which u can of course effect. going cheap also. u can pick up supernova ii rack/tabletop units for cheap on ebay - same engine basically. thats my thoughts for what little they are worth pb.
