brooooowuhuhoom... or something

This is a track that I have been working on and off with for a week or so. Its pretty bass heavy with distorted beats etc.

I appreciate any feedback.

Just listening just now. The beats don't sound very distorted to me at all, if that's what your after you could go to 11 with the crushingness of these beats really. The bass is the most overriding element and also the most distorted. Just now, it sounds a bit directionless really, I didn't get emotion from it, sounds a bit lost and in needing of some flag waving element to attract the listener more. The ending is more interesting where it stops and introduces the higher melody and some more elements. Could be come interesting with some work. The beats need to be MUCH more aggressive and more in the foreground. I've listened to this twice now and the bass element is the main thing jumping out, overpowering all your more subtle elements like your beat programming and interesting incidental melodic snippets. It's all being swamped underneath a blanket of samey bass. Needs more refinement I'd say but keep at it.

Yea, the bass is a bit overpowering. Your also right with the drums, I just bumped up the volume a min ago.

i like it a lot because of its velocity

the bass doesn't vary as much as i'd like

but the drums are ace
