Checking compatibility

Now with a quick question

How can i know if the "x" m-audio keyboard is compatible with the "y" program?

My friend is getting the Oxygen 8 v2 and wants to know if he's compatible with Reason

The Oxygen8 v2 should work with Reason. In fact, most m-audio equipment does, I believe. I have an oxygen 49 and it works great with the program.
