the breaks sound straight out of an action movie.

Sorry wasn't really feeling this dude .... sounds too innocent. Gets more interesting when you introduce the 3rd melody. Until it gets there the amen just seems like passing time. I think you need to go straight to the juice a lot quicker and be confident to stay with it. Try a different breakbeat also because amen is quite predictable and at any rate I'm not too keen on that lumpy distortion applied to it.

i would like to hear this fleshed out more

like play with some mutes and solos
