Yeah, this is quite nice. No crits as such. I guess this pretty much fits within the Syntheme acid lexicon. Those pads/strings remind me a little of the kinda sad strings that used to be in Newclues tracks.

So what happened to your electro tracks; are you not doing them anymores?

cheers promo

I try to push in new directions (like the short electro phase I went through) but I try not to push too hard, I let the track guide me as well. Those small steps will accumulate into a big change given enough time.

I'm using a dx7 for the pads ATM

I agree with Promo, the pads really remind me of something. Only I can't place my finger on it, I don't think it's what he said. I'll sleep on it and have a ponder!

the basslines are great! and i love when the handclaps happen. nice drums; i'd definitely shake my ass to this.

i think you could make the pads more interesting and less buried in the background. make a new melody with them to accompany the bassline. the rest of the music has a real electro feel to it, but the pads sound like typical electronic music. maybe some cheesier sounds like a Jupiter line or something would complement the overall sound more?

at 2:36 when the drums drop out, you should build up to teh dropout, so that when it goes quiet and you come back in with the bassline, it hits harder. then keep that going for longer rather than ending the song after eight bars.

just ideas

the beginning seems a bit abrupt... takes me a while to orient myself. when the the kick starts, this track grabs hold and doesn't let go. the acid and the percussion are quite good.

i think the pad isn't "wide" enough... and the attack segment of it is too sharp for my tastes. maybe some more processing with fx, or some rework on the sound design.

also, i think a percussive breakdown would be nice in this track...

another great track overall.
