Guest Adjective
I think it would be nice to have a list of WATMM recommendations regarding what to read on the subject of arranging sound and silence in time. so do this: recommend a book, dvd, article, online tutorial, or informative microfiche tell where to find it and tell a little about it sound alright? The EQ Primer http://www.recordingwebsite.com/articles/eqprimer.php a neat little online guide explaining a few things about EQ with notes about different frequency ranges Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26039-recommend-a-book-article-or-online-tutorial/ Share on other sites

YES! that was the first thing i thought of when i saw this thread. excellent book, more than 900 pages on basically every synthesis technique - from subtractive, additive, and granular (which Roads basically pioneered) to exotic stuff like waveterrain, wavelet and some physical modelling like waveguide-based techniques. great book, very indepth yet compact. all of roads' literature is great, his book on granular synthesis (Microsound) is excellent also.
