Mm yeah like the crispness of those 808 beatz. Really liking the production ... very pleasing to the ears. Don't know if that piano wasn't really my bag though. Needs some pads I reckon or strings. I liked the production and selection of sounds but musically it didn't totally do it for me.

your beats are nice - the rest is a bit boring IMO. that synth line is definitely too quiet in the mix. it's also not very good. put some changes in it man! don't just put a note on every step - sounds well amatuer. also use different velocity and decay for some of the notes so it's not all one flat sound coming at you. will make your tracks much more interesting to listen to.

so, in conclusion. keep the beats (but lose the crackle coz it's embarrassing). put in an interesting, EVOLVING synth riff and use velocity changes etc. change the main theme of the track a few times to keep the listener interested.

this may sound a little harsh, but I reckon you've got good potential and could make some wicked tracks - this just sounds a bit lazy, you've not really tried that hard.

i never said it was a masterpiece. i put it together in a day, for fun.

i like to post stuff on this board because the people, for the most part, are cool. and i really appreciate getting feedback on something that i've put a lot of creative energy into. it's a nice exchange. i'm not sure why this track offended you so much, maybe you've had a few, i dunno....

i'm not offended - it could just be so much better if you put in a bit more thought. like, could be really really good! it just gets to me when i hear great potential and it's not used properly. IMO. anyway, never mind - I have had a few! (hic)
