lol its "color of fire" not an "eagle in your mind."

To make BoC remixes snazzy you have to incorporate some un-named old tunes...

Well, technically he did - The Color of the Fire was called "I LOVE YOU" originally on the Old Tunes cassettes...

touché

And I am sorry about what I said about eagle, how could I forget?

Well on a serious note, the remix was sadly very poor. The melodies you tried to blend with BoC Maxima were more than just countering it, the effect was a nasty dissonant chord. Seemed more like a bad mashup then a remix.

Dissonant? Could you please specify where abouts this "dissonant" chord is?

I've tried to make sure it is within Key, I'll give it a closer listen...

Bocuma is based on an arpegiated D Sus4 chord, and you layer a G minor chord progression on top of it...Not exactly intelligent melody wise.

Fair enough.

I'll give it reworking, I still think it sounds ok, although playing it on piano it makes it clearer.

Thanks for the adivce..
