Chris Moss Acid
here is a new sub 2 track for them sub fanz... Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag Sub Daze.mp3 i find its a very mature approch to the sub franchise, say, compared to some of the more childlike songs on "the sub". i enjoy the cs80 bass on this perticular track enjoy Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26135-sub-daze-sub-2/ Share on other sites
Guest tht! tne
the melodies are very tasteful and warmly nostalgic they may be a little thin and i don't know if 808 complements them well enough but for pure novelty it's a gem a lot of ground is covered and it's all well done Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26135-sub-daze-sub-2/#findComment-552702 Share on other sites
Chris Moss Acid
chars i dunno all the other sub tracks use the 808 so im just like sticking to it, i reluctantly put in some breaks on this track, but it sounds good with them. so maybe in sub 3 if it ever gets made i might go more towards beefer breaks. who knows? i try and keep to the philosphy i had in "the sub" which is basically rich on melody and no frills drums. also i did have a little problem which took a while to satisfy me as well, the opening bit was a 12 bar skit and it put everything a little bit out of tune/time and as i put perticular instances of this riff across 4 tracks through out the track it made things a bit complicated. but in the end i came up with a solution, but that was after i had to manually move the entire track around to fit in fairly odd bar lenghts Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26135-sub-daze-sub-2/#findComment-552709 Share on other sites

Guest Rook
definitely like that bass. But I am not crazy about those high hats. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26135-sub-daze-sub-2/#findComment-552753 Share on other sites
erichodge
it think the drums are simply unsettling once they come in... if you could ease them in a little better, methinks it'd be just fine... maybe just start with a couple of hats... then a snare... then the kick... make the progression a bit slower?
