I can see your gripe about them (the music is rather aimlessly pretty), but I like aimlessly pretty.

but i think it's interviewer's fault..he just shoot his preset questions at them, without showing any signs of interest in the band and their music, couldn't make them to open up. they didn't seem like some indie twats, just very shy and..into themselves.

They weren't doing a whole lot to facilitate the situation, plus its NPR, only 2 people at the station have a pulse.

heima dvd is soooooooooooooooooooo nice.

i was really into these guys, the first two three albums. takk sounded like the same thing again. have they progressed since then? the track i saw them play live on tv sounded like an old song but i dont think it was. bad sign.

i put takk on just now to see why i haven't listened to it much since i bought it.

so this isn't a new album just some inbetween stuff. so is takk the last album?

yeh. hvarf has outtakes and unreleased studio songs, while heim has acoustic versions of already released songs.

And the DVD follows them around Iceland with highlights from a series of free, unannounced gigs.

seems sigur ros are big in australia.

they need to bring back the electronic element of their music. or do something big next.
