Why is it such a common first AFX release? It's nothing like anything else he's done (or anyone else has done for that matter) yet people get hooked on the rest of his more upbeat releasii.

I got it around the past summer.

I bought it used at a CD store. I was looking for Aphex after seeing the Come To Daddy video and the Windowlicker video.

Did you buy it used too?

At first, I thought: Now that was a nice grave for my money.

Now, I think: Not, that was a nice....ALBUM!

Come to Daddy EP, about a decade ago (!)

SAW 85-92, which basically hooked me as afx fan

I bought Classics on vinyl. I had never heard anything else before by Aphex Twin except for Windowlicker, so I thought "Classics" was a good start getting into Aphex.

Come to Daddy video and then Winowlicker Video followed by Windowlicker EP and ICBYD.

Druqs in 2001 I think. I didn't really get into it until a couple years later though. I was a late bloomer. Good album, but not a favorite of mine. Once I got into the Richard James album I became a true fanatic.
