Guest Joence
Just finished my second drum&bass track made using the Orange Mixer. I don't like it as much as the first one (probably because I didn't want to reuse any samples meaning I was left with the ones I chose not to use the first time). Still, I think it's worth a listen. The track is called "Tricksy" and can be found on my myspace. http://www.myspace.com/joeyewen Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/26700-finished-another-drumbass-track/ Share on other sites

erichodge
there is a nice clean feel to this track... but i just don't get the depth or the BIGNESS of sound i want from drum and bass. i'd layer up some more snares and kicks i'd be more sparse with the choppy/sweepy sound... it gets distracting. towards the end, i think there is too much going on... in your mix, grab the bass-line, which is interesting... distort the heck out of it... anchor it a bit more solidly to some more solidly layered kicks, crank the drums and bass up in the mix and let those supporting noises come in and out just to add feeling and movement to the track. pretty incredible though, for someone so young. keep up the good work!!
