Josso
I've only heard portreath harbour (aswell as been there) out of that album. I saw it in HMV of all places but it was an extreme rip-off at £16 or something so I decided against it. Guest phsoul
Polygon Window was the first aphex release I heard. Back in 1993, i think, a friend brought round this amazing record and we just couldn't stop listening to it. Almost single-handedly, it got me into listening to and making as much electronic music as I could. Definately right up there with his best works in my opinion. Joyrex
Funny how the two "throwaway" tracks Richard dug up in an instant from his library to put on the SOSW reissue to make WARP happy are everyone's favourites from it  Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures Follow WATMM on Twitter: @WATMMOfficial Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/2733-polygon-window/#findComment-58700 Share on other sites

Boxing Day
This is my favourite RDJ album (The re-release) , every second , every note is a trip that has affected me on a personal level (the way i see things and shit) If it really is me is my second favourite RDJ track , the "hidden" piano melodies are just nostalgic and overwhelming. (Audax Powder has been stuck in my head since i first heard the album back in 2002. , tatata-tata-tatatatata) Edited May 30, 2010 by Boxing Day Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Boxing Day's signature Hide all signatures I HOPE THIS MATCH NEVER ENDS - Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/2733-polygon-window/#findComment-1338414 Share on other sites
goDel
back then when i was in the record shop (when they still existed) and didn't really have a clue about who aphex was apart from the stuff he released on R&S, i had a huge wtf moment when i had that polygon album in my hands. written and produced by richard d. james... what? no way.... awesome moment. it's like going to the record shop today and finding that one album you didn't know about, but was already there al along with al these great tunes. nowadays, it's only about pre-ordering and downloading stuff from the internet. so i guess what i wanted to say was that i miss the days of plowing through those racks of cd's. the album is good too. /trainwreck Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/2733-polygon-window/#findComment-1338540 Share on other sites
