Please help me find some instrument sample cds

Harroooooooooooooooooo!

I've come to the realisation that I am never going to own my own studio and have nearly every single instrument known to man (no joke, that's what I wanted to do), so instead I would like to do the next best thing.

...I want to buy some professional instrument sample cds, but to be more specific, CDs that contain individual notes rather than played music so that I can grab each note.

I am going to feel so bad for doing it this way but I hope that these sort of cds exist.

Could you lot please recommend some good sample cds?

future music magazines come with a disc with samples... a lot of them have single notes!
