Doseone - Skeleton Repellent

dose's production skills have really developed. great, melancholy tunes as well.

I've had it for a while. I ordered it the first day it was available lol.

I didn't realize Dose had so many self-released albums.

Are "Ha", "Hemispheres", and "Slowdeath" worth buying? I can't find samples of them.

hemispheres is cool; it's from back when he was more of a conventional rapper. I haven't listened to the other two that much. I think skeleton repellent's not a bad one to start with if you're into his more recent stuff.

"Ha" is somewhat new and is more of a conventional album with polished production that is in the same vein as the subtle stuff. "Slowdeath" is quite old and is more of a sound collage with random poetry and chanting here and there. I personally really like Slowdeath as it has the ability to put me in this very dark and strange mood.

why doesn't he make a record for people that don't like him. like me.

downloaded this illegally and on first listen can't say i'm a fan. sure one listen isnt enough but i'd definetely say i'm more a why fan than a dose fan. not that you can only choose one. i never got into the last subtle either to be honest. infact 13&god was the last dose thing i liked.

Speaking of shirts, some of the shirts he's selling confuse me. I don't see the connection between them and Dose. I guess they are just interesting designs?

I think its lovely. I wasn't a huge fan of hA!, had a few good tracks but also some tracks that I can't stand for some reason. Skeleton repellent is great all the way through imo. Favorite recent purchase for me

i meant to delete this as i wasn't feeling it but it sat on iriver and i put it on random recently and it played a few tracks and they really grew me.

A bit off topic, but is that Greenthink (Doseone and Why?) album any good? I can't find samples.
