short synthy melodic thing

just a variation of a little doodle i play a lot when i'm near a piano or something.

made this for some theme song contest, they wanted videogamey.

i didn't want to do 8bit though so i went with cheese.

i like this, minus the bit around 00:38 where it goes crazy. a better choice of notes there and it's a winner. btw, do you have a link to this contest?

it's a video game themed podcast, kinda funny sometimes

not sure when it closes but i think they do a podcast every week, so you coul find whatever number they are on now and figure maybe that you need to be in a week before the 100th podcast i guess.

or asking in the thread is probably smarter.

i like the synth line a lot. i think you picked all the right sounds for it to really work how quantized it is.

i think at the breaks at 0:38 and 0:56 you could use another sound in there, a bass or something sound-effecty and punchy, maybe just on the quarter notes with the kick
