Korg Esx 1 not powering

Korg esx1 that powers up however no info appears on lcd which lights up... no other function buttons illuminate. Manual trouble shoot suggest - making sure power supply is securely positined - and asking whether supply is plugged into a wall socket- both have been checked and yielded no favorable results. Any thoughts ideas or suggestions ?

Yeah, it sounds like a power problem. Did you try another ac adapter? There might be something wrong with the jack as well.

no haven't tried another adapter, my other electribe doesn't have the same type of adapter...

Write down the info on it (including that outside/inside polarity shit) and buy one from Radio Shack. Just show the guy the info and he'll give you the right adapter.
