Coldplay - "Prospekt"

having just begun to appreciate Coldplay's better songs, i'm very curious to see what Brian Eno can produce for them seeing as how much they were influenced by his U2 productions.

i think they're definitely underrated, though x&y sucked ass, for the most part ... still i'm looking forward to this

Coldplay??? Underrated??? They are like one of the most critically acclaimed bands ever. And have gone platinum many times over.

The first two albums I loved, the third was bad bad. I expect the fourth to be the same bad bad, unless the band radically changes the way they write. The biggest problem with XY was that they kept trying to milk the same ideas, but that utter had already been pulled dry.

critically acclaimed? everyone that i know hates coldplay, and reviews are generally not kind. going platinum many times only makes their case worse

I'm not going to lie -- I love coldplay as well.

I dont love Coldplay but I used to really enjoy their 2nd album. The rest is pretty pish. I wouldn't write them off just yet though

It would be nice if they were to release the Ulrich Schnauss remix of Talk with this, I'd buy it for that reason alone.

they can be really annoying, but a few of their tunes are undeniably good. 'trouble' is still the best one, it really reminds me of lush winter for some reason.
