anyone fancy doing a remix for me?

hey,

i've never been remixed by anyone before, so i've decided to stick all the parts of one of my tracks online for you guys to remix it, for an ep to be released soon. all parts are wavs.

I just listened to the original track and there's tons of potential for what I had in mind :) When do you want the remix? I'm in the middle of moving, so I might not be able to begin until next week or so

the original's at 75.5bpm....that's quite downtempo!

anything from breakcore to ambient is coolio. :laughing:

the drumz on the original are fuckin nuts!

believe it or not, none of it was sequenced....it was done live in two parts with a shitty edit in between which i fixed last night.

i did a remix myself last night....it's attached....it needs mastering and i think the snares are too loud...

I'm thinking about it, i'm sick and have nothing to do right now so I don't see why not. I like it. Reminds me of a song a guy did in a music theory class a couple years ago. He went on a bender and recorded him playing the piano over 7 hours improvising and another classmate made it into this fusion song but ruined it by adding cheese dx7 electric piano in there when there was already more than enough piano. But he had these 808 drums in it and it was kind of dancey. He said "this is techno fusion" and I almost vomited all over my desk at that name.

This track is cool though...piano is kind of "in your face" a bit. But I assume that's what you were going for :)

I take back the "in your face piano" comment. I was listening on crappy laptop midrangey speakers.

i'm in as soon as i get my new interface. just had to sell my digidesign because especially my powerbook underpowers the fuckin usb :/
