I really need to work on composition,are there any tips in general that would help my production?

I've been using a piano roll for melodies

that's how i make melodies, try using some slight reverb on the drums to give it that acoustic feel,

i don't have any tips but i like your track

i think Producer Snafu is right about the reverb
