Cylob - Synclair Remix

You might have gathered from previous reviews on here that I'm a big Cylob fan and I have to say his latest remix rocks. Well actually, it's more 'pop' than rock. The remix is in Cylob's newly-labelled 'style free' style, i.e. really rubbery sounding, the track bounds along blissfully with heartfelt melodies. It's quite refreshing to hear this sort of stuff again. Very good indeed...

Oh, the other remixes are good too but I out of them I prefer Cylob's the most. Why did Rephlex lose this guy?!

Yeah, seems like Rephlex were like a bottleneck, metaphorically speaking, in terms of his output. He certainly seems to have released a lot more since he split with them or got a lot more creative since then, more work, dunno...

& i havent listened to potaton something yet. shame on me..

I love this cylob mix. It reminds me of Mega Man for some reason.

well the second track that came on is really great! i wish all his tracks sounded as such

If this isn't proof that if Cylob stopped playing with pots and pans on the kitchen and used his vacuum cleaner to clean his house instead of sampling it all the time for his brruumm and vvvvhummm and his computer rap tracks, his music could actually be listenable and be considered "GOOD".

Now go listen to Cylob's all originals on myspace just to compare the difference.
