work in progress, looking for suggestions

hey all...

this one has been a bit of a challenge so far... but certain things about it are starting to shape up. few different places i could take this one... maybe more towards the glitchy side, or more towards a more uniform, structured beat pattern... or, anywhere else for that matter, who knows.

just curious what you think...

any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Sounds pretty good to me. I'd sporadically add a few short, sharp bass hits and have the rest of the track sort of "duck" under them to add some dynamic variety.. Too bad side-chaining is relatively difficult to perform in software...

i think it would be cool if became more structured(not too much), after what you just posted, with a simple beat shift and a little simple melody. then I would add some samples of people talking about space.

it's got a nice sound to it.

i definitely have the ability to side chain in my software... although not all of my compressors support it... i have two compressors and a gate that i can work with... and unfortunately they aren't my favorite sounding devices..

still, i will play around with it as much as i can (and, to some extent, i am sending the sub signal via sidechain to the compressor on the kick precisely for the ducking effect).

I might have eased into the noisy bits a little bit. But overall, really good.
