What are the effects that are being put on the first sound on the clip during the first 11 secs thats makes it sound like the rest of the clip?

and if it is a different sound that the sound in the first 11 secs, what is it?

It's tough to tell when the clip is streamed at a samplerate of like 2 khz.

sounds like that square wave patch has some glide added and i'd say that it's also going through a low-pass filter
