Drub Acid

What do you think? should I spend a couple of hours more on this idea?

the "acid" line is pointless and very weak imo

don't like the reverbed snare

or the other synth bit

really dont like the distorted bit either... doesn't really fit ... change for change sake?

i'd probably leave it unfinished in your projects folder tbh

or go back to the original drum loop and write another song

Yea, I wouldn't have used that snare. And maybe a different synth for the chords.

i like when the distortion comes in

but i don't really like the melody of it

i like the chords and the synth they're on

that snare really should probably go though

this has potential just rework it some good show

ludd: if you take out the acid line it sound weaker and pointlesER, i know because that's the last thing that was added to the mix. the distorted thing will later scream, if things get heavy enough.

to everyone:

the snare is there because that was basically what started the track in the first place. i guess it can go now. i know the reverb is there by mistake tho.

also, those are the best acid lines i've come up with, ever : (

i hope oyu didnt tske any offencicles to my comment, not that it sounds like you did. i havent been in here much lately and i thougt ooh a GORDO track which is to say i enjoy GORDO posts and was quite eager to chek this out etc.

re: the acid line - it just doesnt float my boat - sounds a bit genericky but if this is a new type of thing for you (you say its your best acid line yet) then fairplay and carry on. it just that lacks any kind of funkiness for my tatse - to say it is pointless is perhaps over the tops.

and regards to should you spend a few more hours on it then yes but what i said above is what I personally would do if it were mine . GORD luck with it. i hope to hear more of your stuff in the futures.
