Guest synthganic
Synthganic tracks available for mass scrutiny. As opposed to creating a thread for every new track upload, I'm going to start posting all of my new tracks in the same spot... right here. So buckle up and hold on tight for the first installment of Accolades in Stereo: TNMVMNT.mp3 0:00 Make a Run for it 2:33 Schwam 4:19 Broken Buster 7:43 New Terror 9:45 Oh Fuck (reelie stylie), Featuring mad production assistance from my boy Mighty Murda Hoes Interesting facts about this collection: This 12 minute compliation of tracks is part of a larger set played in support of Benn Jordan, performing live in KCK as The Flashbulb, in August of this year. A few of these tracks, namely Schwam (02) and Broken Buster (03), were posted in YLC a few months ago. They have since been deleted from said posts in support of my new baby, Accolades in Stereo. New Terror (04) uses dialog samples from sources (movies? TV shows?) that to my ear are unidentifiable. I obtained these samples in "The Great Sample Heist of 2003" while working at a studio in L.A. at that time. The Samples originated from a retail sample pack complied by Methods of Mayhem. Please enjoy. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/29125-accolades-in-stereo/ Share on other sites

Nice! I enjoy a lot of his Flashbulb stuff. And I'm also liking a lot of what I'm hearing in this set. Great flow. Has a very positive vibe to it, makes me wanna eat candy, and I don't even have a sweet tooth. The transitions are really well done, the beats mighty. Really digging the fun production bits in New Terror. Excellent set snippet. I would have liked to have been there. I like you a lot for the simple fact that you post in almost every thread here on YLC. Your comments are usually pretty short and sweet, but at least you've got the stones to give every track a listen and your thumbs up/down. It's members such as yourself that help make YLC a community of open-minded musically-creative peers. My hat's off to you sir. It's nice to hear such positive words from someone as talented as yourself. I listened to your two most recent tracks in YLC today and I'm extremely impressed with the quality and detail of both. You've definitely got an intuition that many electronic artists lack. Please continue blessing us with your sonic oddities. P.s. - You might be interested in watching this video taken from the above mentioned show. Just some live Flashbulb Drill Fuckery with bonus flyby footage of him working his magic real-time. This is one of three videos posted in the vids section of the Synthganic myspace music page. Once again, thank you for listening and be sure to check back here soon for another edition of Accolades in Stereo, An Evolving Original Music Thread. Guest Diao
KCK, as in Kansas City Kansas? Was the show with the Flashbulb you speak of the one when he was touring with Dillinger? If so, I wanted to go but didn't because I thought Benn cancelled that stop on his tour. This was a different show. He was playing a gig in St. Louis on a Saturday night and a KC producer contacted him and asked him to come to KC the night before, as the two cities are within a reasonable distance from each other. He kindly agreed and rocked a local dive bar for a small crowd of thirty to fifty people. It was a fun night during which I danced my fucking ass off. He played mostly drill, then an acid set, with melodic bits thrown in here and there. He played for us until they shut the bar down. Benn happens to be a very pleasant person imo. You must be speaking of Broken Buster and though I'm not sure exactly what sound you're talking about, I'll take your comment about the 80's as a compliment. Seriously though, taken out of context, it kinda sounds like a joke... Nonetheless, thank you for listening to my music and taking the time to push buttons on your keyboard and mouse. Guest synthganic
Accolades in Stereo - Round 2 Pop in Geek Major This installment of Accolades in Stereo showcases the creative diversity that I personally strive for when composing. Why hide in a genre rut when you could be making polka breakcore tracks? Rushing_It__Outside_.mp3 'Rushing It' was the working title for this track when it was created in '05 using Acid Pro. It received this title quite abruptly as the track was composed while waiting for a friend to make the trip to my apartment to work on music. Ironically, the most time and effort I have ever put into any song was spent on this track. About 8 months to be exact. Countless hours/days were spent re-editing, overdubbing, and re-mixing to get this song where we wanted it. (It could still use a bit of a face lift as far as I'm concerned.) This song features a few guests: Odds Against Even (guitar), Ryan A. (sax), Huck (scratches), Justin A. (vocals). Breathe.mp3 This particular piece was a local favorite amongst friends/fans alike. The college radio station 90.7 KJHK, based out of Lawrence, KS (go Jayhawks!), aired this track on a few occasions. All vocals were spat by Justin A. The instrumental was created using samples. Hitler__s_Moustache.mp3The voice of this track (who shall remain nameless) improvised this entire performance. We_Gettin___High.mp3 This track, another local favorite, features some wanksta-ass raps by yours truly and my musical accomplice Huck. This instrumental was created in about fifteen minutes. Growing pot was a hobby of mine at the time of this track's conception. The strains of pot Sour Diesel and AK 47 receive honorable mentions during this song. In_Morning.mp3 Another cut and run track, 'In Morning' was completed in one afternoon. Again, guest artists include: Odds Against Even (dirty beatbox and live drums), Huck (seagull scratches and bass guitar), Justin A. (hand claps and vocals). Please enjoy! Guest synthganic
VOTE 1 of 1 - Hitler's Moustache - Most under-listened and obviously underrated track in this thread. Don't let the name fool you, it's worthy of a click and a listen... I promise.
