studio cable management/plugs

Recommended Posts

right im getting fucking sick of 3 pin plugs they are too big and annoying they take up the majority of my legspace there must be a solution out there, ive seen electritians use an alternative, its a special connector that replaces the plug its very sleek and small and it plugs into a special socket on the wall, mainly used with washing machines and stuff, is it possible for me to replace all my plugs with these sleek connectors into a special multi-socket extension, do any of you know wtf im talking about? if not has anyone got their stuff setup and networked properly with powerleads all neat and stuff i need tips badly im going nuts here with all this mess!

must be something tout there to replace bulky plugs man!

I've got all mine tucked away between two desks, one with my PC on and the other carrying my synth, they're well close together so they don't bother me :-D

I like plugging in plugs and cables and all that, it's sort of like an electrical metaphor for sex

you can get those multi plug things.

it's like a rectangulr 'stick' thingy with a single 3 pin on it... you plug that in, and then you attach the corresponding tiny plugs that come with the stick on the end of your gear cables where the 3 pin would usually be. the plugs then plug into the side of the stick... it's about half the size of a standard four-gang adapter.

hope that helps.
