here's how i see it working

interested parties agree on a set of standard machines/effects/freeware vsts

person 1 makes something

renders it

posts it

sends the .bmx to person 2

person 2 makes something using the existing setup, maybe adding(or deleting) a machine or an effect

renders it

posts it

sends the .bmx to person 3

person 3 makes something using the existing setup, maybe adding (or deleting) a machine or an effect

renders it

posts it

and so on

hmm, sounds interesting, but i have a pretty stripped down buzz setup these days - i tend to just use fsm infector, kibibu green milk, matilde tracker, automaton eq-7, larsha funkyverb, ryg analog distortion, and fsm chorus, maybe a bit of ninja delay too.

anyway - count me in as long as you include any machines that aren't mentioned above hehe.

yeah i'd be up for that. i've got the big fuckoff buzz pack, so most stuff would be alright...shall i post a buzz thing on here? i usually make shit live on buzz, not sequencing....

i'd love to participate after new years'? my sequencing skills aren't that great though and my comp is a slug

listening to the file kaini, pretty interesting foundation; been playing around with the bpms and tpbs for a little bit trying to guess which one sounds more dubsteppish since i noticed you love dubstep :stuart: but so far it sounds more dub techno to me.

i might try to make something out of that. can i add a few other things? (eq-7, fsmchorus, funkyverb)

i've been fucking around with the 808 and completely redone the 303. and added some pad style things with voidbass ii. but i'd love to have a compressor and 909 on that shit.

What's the best Buzz pack these days? Used to mess with Buzz 1999'ish haven't really kept up. Last site I knew of was buzzmachines.com but even the stealth kit was crashomatic for me. I used to have DJLaser's pack but I can't find it anymore, that seemed to be the most stable at the time.

i would say add stuff as long as it's pretty standard buzz stuff available in most packs. let thatcher go next as he asked, eh? then maybe modex?
