Hey guys,

i finished this one off a few weeks before christmas and have since been enjoying the seasonal festivities. its my first attempt to real mimic a genre. i listened around to some other dubstep and it seems most of it is dull and uninspired. anyhoo this is my take on the style. (im quite proud of myself that i managed to keep the tune length below 5 minutes)

ENJOY!

Ya, I likey lots. But not really the robotty voice at the very beginning. I am listening to it on my new monitors and the bass is kick ass. One of the best Watmm dub-step tracks definitely. Although I might do a bit more with the ending. Keep it up man. I almost always save your tracks. And I really like the bleepy bloopy melody/atmosphere with the dubstep beats as opposed to a lot of dub step melodies that are blah blah.

Great shit, probably one of the better dubstep tracks I've heard. Lovely bass!!!

On second thought it sounds very grimey. I can imagine dizzee rascal spitting on this track. (not literally)

cheers rook,

the robotty voice is a through back to the original inception for this tune. a friend asked me to make him a CD of my music which had lots of 'blippy wobbly woo woo' type night time driving music on it. so quickly before i went out i made this stupid little intro with the robot voice and the 'bloobobobobowoOWOWOWOowowowo' melody wobble thing. anyways, i liked it enough that i fancied seeing where the tune would end up, and he asked me to keep it in there :)

Having 'finished' the track ive noticed a couple of places where the bass peaks if u have it at near max volume out of a system. bit of a pain. i rushed out the really grimey ending just to break the tune and have it stumble to a halt. i think after looots of listens the track is essentially very simple, but the bass is nice enough and theres a couple of moments in the drums that i still really like.

tonight is the first night ive been back on my computer properly since the whole mashup head melting christmas fiasco began. since then ive acquired a bongo, a penny-whistle, a weird wooden flute/recorder and some ear defenders. its FINALLY time for me to write some music again. im so glad this insane party season is over and i can get back to being a hermit.

thanks to anyone who took the time to listen to the track. i appreciate the feedback.

haha... yeah, all the trademarks are dubstep are there... i'd actually like to hear what you'd made if you just followed BPM and basic beat pattern... and left out some of the other regular stuff and just went more nuts...

this is good though. blow that bass UP... maybe my headphones are having an off day... but you have some serious headroom in a track like this to destroy eardrums...

production quality is excellent... and i really like the percussion flow in this one.... the noises you use are quality as well.

great work, as seems to common be the case from you.

I pretty much just followed the beat pattern and bpm, and i think that was more luck than anything.

the percussion is the driving force in the track really, thats what seems to give the shape and progression.

that track is to set in stone in my mind for me to change anything now sadly. but the bass couldve kicked off really nicely with a bit more presence and bite. something for next time.

thanks for reviewing :)

bumpin yo... excellent work with the bass. very balanced with the hi's and lo's... fabulously nutting drum programming... i really like that live snare you mixed in during the final 3rd gave that much more to the ever evolving drums. i agree with rook about the ending though.
