Guest Rook
needs more reverb. And more power in the bass drum. Not bad though. I have been trying forever unsuccessfully to recreate this one snare sound that Ae makes... Guest Goum Le Chat
In LCC, the hh sounds less noisy and a bit more confused. But well done, you're pretty close. How did you make the synth? Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/29478-lcc-cover-on-machinedrum/#findComment-623861 Share on other sites

Guest burnibus
not heard this but will listen when i get home. does anyone else see this type of thing as being futile? i suppose it helps you understand the processes that ae have gone through to get their music, but surely time would be better spent making something original and not tracing over someone elses work? maybe im just strange that way but what makes ae so good is that they sound like no one else so trying to identically copy their work just smacks of pointlessness. kcinsu
musicians throughout time have transcribed out musicians work, as a way to understand their processes. its not futile, it's very useful. also, not everyone can, or wants to, make original stuff. Thats fine. It really doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't look at it so seriously. If it makes the person happy, thats all that matters. Surely lots of people who play guitar cant write their own stuff, but they enjoy playing other peoples songs. It makes them happy. Better hobby than most people have...
