Batch of awesome trackage

Not done alot of stuff since I haven't had a computer for ages, just playing the guitar, but I've spent the holidays at my folks using reason 4 abit. Pretty fun program, I like the modular synth wannabe thing called thor, here's what I've come up with in my day to day doodling.

nice swirly sort of thing towards the end

reminds me of some boc track

maybe switch up the beats a little bit

the swells accentuate whatever instrument that is

the texture is just complemented by the swelling

kinda like a penis

i like the lead you use and the arpeggiation on it

and the filtering, sounds like a real talkbox or a jew's harp

this surprised me by being my favorite of the bunch

i don't see much that's particularly electronic music about this

it does recall aphex twin subtly...

kinda is more like smooth jazz

now this is a lot more electronic music and obviously boc influenced

i like the modulation on the lead

the stabs in the second half really work, imo

does have a sort of dark undercurrent, evocative like the title

tht! tne: Thanks for the extensive reply, I really appreciate it. You've brought up some very valid points about the tracks, the dark downtempo one is probably my favourite too. I get what you mean with the swelling sound, awesome metaphor by the way.

I like how you interpreted the TNCH song in association with the title, that's exactly the kind of mood I was going for. I was mainly inspired by sunshine recorder in that regard.. it was used in some crime documentary by BBC I think, with a fraud guy that appropriately never was caught, can't get that connection out of my head.
