tnx for the reply.

Flowlike soundmaking is a bit what i always do, it gives sounds and ritme the change to evolve minimal.

but this is the breakcore era , I guess.. ;)

I made notes while listening:

konstanze

00:10 sounds like squarepusher 'music is rotten one note' cd skipping forwards

00:22 some bass noises join in

00:52 makes me think of Jaws, but Jaws is drunk .... and not in the sea - he's in Tom Jenkinsons studio and he's trying to creep up on him

02:24 bass notes change a bit ... I imagine Tom and Jaws now locked in a slow motion drunken brawl around the studio

02:59 faster bass drops. quite nice. its as if Murcof walks in the room and tells Tom and Jaws to quit fucking around

03:54 getting more interesting (Tom sits at the drum kit, experiments)

04:40 a crowd gathers (i notice that the total track length is 11:38. My courage wavers)

05:45 quite enjoying this bit. Murcof and Tom are doing some nice stuff. Jaws experiments with a keyboard. The crowd has drifted away.

06:23 Jaws topples over, sending the keyboard flying

06:53 he still can't get up, trashing around on the ground

08:00 Jaws has flapped up from the floor and is running some loops through Ableton. Tom continues to sit at the drumkit, tapping things now and then

09:22 nice soft glitchy stuff from the Murcof end of the combo

09:47 Jaws turns up the volume with a free flipper

10:46 Tom gets his head together on the drum kit

well, its not really my kind of music but it was quite well done. There were some nice rhythms in there. If this track came on randomly from my mp3 player and I was in the right sort of mood it would go down quite well. But 12 minute sound collages aren't really my thing.

lalala

00:10 fast bassline, up and down swirly bits

00:36 still the same fast bassline with up and down swirly bits

00:57 a kick drum arrives

01:15 some mod-wheel action on the kick drum

01:29 higher percussion

02:05 slightly heavier bassline

02:25 I see that the total track length is 09:06. uh oh

02:39 abrasive scrapy sound joins in

I skip forwards to...

06:03 swirly bits have gone, fast high tablas and a loud quick clashing sound

06:32 low bass comes back in

skip to

08:22 fundamentally the same thing

well I suppose some Trance is supposed to be long, repetitive and intense. But again its not my cup of tea. others may like it
