Guest Braindance
I have an atari sitting here which i want to run with some old style sequencing programs. problem is i dont have any hardware sound modules. so my question is; can I have my atari hooked up via midi to my pc running logic and have logic just operate as a sound module?? I have tried this and what I managed was to get a midi part recorded on the atari cubase which plays one of the audio instruments in Logic. The problem however was that you would only hear that audio instrument if you were selected onto that track in logic. This of course ruled out any arrangement with multiple instruments. im sure this must be a basic midi setup but my mind doesnt seem to be hitting even a basic level right now. anyone have any ideas on this? cheers Brain Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/2978-logic-as-a-slave-of-sorts/ Share on other sites

YEK
oh yeah, and i guess a sound module would totally determine what your sound is, not style, but sound...... so yeah , could be limiting in ways.... maybe you should just stick with logic and forget the atari? I dont intend to replace any of my setup with 20 year old atari applications but I just wanna try shit out. Theres always something to be gained.
