Seriously, no one has been able to find the COME ON YOU SLAGS! movie and youtube the portion about the "coming out party" ???

I heard that Fantasia is just the character's name, and the film is Taboo X. You're on your own tracking it down though, I don't even like that track (mostly because of said samples).

I've tried to search for it. To no avail.

Some more leads here maybe. Maybe some could track it down and sync the music up with the video. That would be neat.

I actually really like the way the sample contrasts with the darker feel of the synth and "come on you slags" voice.

But I hear you - I hate the "mashed potatoes" sample on HAB. Totally ruins that track for me.

Imdb matches this claim, wikipedia confirms this is in fact the sample, torrents are very easy to find with a quick google search for the video.

Good point, now that you mention it, Taboo X came out in 1992, and Come On You Slags was recorded in 1990 judging by the cover artwork... IMDB doesn't suggest anything with Brooke Ashley in that was released on or before 1990. I guess it'll have to remain a mystery, huh?

Ok, I'm giving up on this. But should anyone wish to take the baton, here's the little I've found: 1. A review of "Asian Silk" said Brooke Ashley is not in the movie; 2. The website listed in my last post (and other sites) have Brooke Ashley's "filmography," which includes too many flicks to be able to just guess; 3. But, only about half are in the time frame that would allow them to have been used in the song; 4. There is one called "Never Never Land," which I thought sounded like a promising title; 5. Listening to the song, I don't think "Anastasia" is a possibility (in reference to the Bo Derek film mentioned above).
