pro tools

anyone use pro tools or is it too intense? looks expensive but that's what all the pros use. this device is aimed at not so professional market, a step down, but i'm intrigued.

does anyone on this board have a history of pro tools use?

i can see me writing a track on a hardware sequencer and then recording it with protools, then making minor changes in the program and then mastering. i think that's what it's for.
