I have a hard time taking music like this seriously. I lol'd when I first opened stripped black.

its insane to think of how many electronic music genres Scorn has sustained and been associated with. in the beginning Scorn was an 'ambient metal' outfit with industrial influences. It slowly evolved into a heavy dubbed out somewhat chill-out sound and was featured on compilations with other chillout rave music of that time. then he got picked up by Invisible records and came a part of the whole post-industrial scene of the mid 90s and started making really dark ambient music under the name Lull.The music comingout under Scorn at this period was super dark hip hop with massively loud bass. Now a musical genre that is imo the most like his core style comes into play (dubstep) and Scorn is nearly unheard of in the scene as a whole. I hope more grime and dubstep fans recognize the similarities.
